Thank you for visiting HERNAK.com!
Whereas most doctor review sites rely upon the opinion of a patient, which is important, we believe that when you or a loved one needs expert medical care, the best resource is the local nursing community. RNs have had exposure to a wide range of medical providers, some top-notch and others not so much so. You may think that a doctor would know who is good and who isn't, but the truth is they don't know much beyond another doctor's personality. Nurses always know the skill level, bedside manner/personality, and ethics/moral compass of the various providers.
The credibility of our site relies upon professionals rating other professionals; therefore, we must confirm that those who submit a review are actually RNs who work with the physician being reviewed. We make anonymity a priority.
We will send a confirmatory email to the reviewer's work email address. This aids in confirming place of work and active employment. We do not want a "witch-hunt" or "free-for-all" allowing any RN to review any physician. We want intimate insight from those who work closely with the providers.
Once a confirmatory email is received at the workplace, we recommend that reviewers switch to using a personal email to protect anonymity because the hospital has privilege to review work emails, not your personal emails. You will be redirected to the survey site; complete the survey; and then, the rating will be collated with others to create a robust database of reviews for the public domain for free.
Once Hernak.com is able to confirm a reviewer's name and state nursing license number, the name of the hospital, and the name of the provider to review, we post the rating!
